5 ways to Wellbeing

How are you doing with self care at the moment? Have a look at the 5 ways to wellbeing on the image and score yourself from 1 - 10

We have heard a lot about mental health over the course of the pandemic and for most people, we have experienced some effect on our mental health.
Here's some suggestions for each one of the 5 ways to wellbeing.
Connect - 1:1 time with a friend or family member, spending time playing with a young child (which can being such fun and joy), taking part in a club or class or reconnecting with an old friend.
Be active - Walking the dog (or someone else's!), dancing, stretches such as 'Yoga with Adriene' on Youtube, running or team sports
Take notice - practising simple mindfulness from something as simple as savouring your food and taking time to really enjoying it, to going for a walk and noticing what you are experiencing in each of the 5 senses
Keep Learning - Learning a new academic subject, taking a free online course, learning a craft or creative subject.
Give - take time to send a thank you card or text, write an email or an 'old school' letter (who doesn't love getting personalised post?) to ask how a friend is doing, spend time with someone who needs comapny or help.
All of these things can really boost our wellbeing and are really good ways of showing ourselves self care. I hope you might find this post useful and remember -
