Panic attack tip - The alphabet game.

There are may tips for helping someone through a panic attack. Here's one that some young people have found particularly helpful - The alphabet game. If you feel a panic attack coming on, of course, aiming to slow down breathing is important, but try this distraction technique:

Go through the alphabet and try and name something for each letter such as an animal, names, places, shops etc. Doing this with a friend can help the distraction and help you come through the other side of the episode.
